PRESENTATION:
Sarah Frater, LTC, MI - Director of Cybersecurity Operations for the Wisconsin National Guard
Sarah will discuss the State of Wisconsin Cyber Response Team Program (CRT). How the CRT trains and deploys volunteers to respond to a cyber emergency. The CRT mission is to protect Wisconsin’s infrastructure and critical systems from malicious attacks through prevention, detection, response, and recovery. The goals are to 1) Share real-time threat intelligence, 2) Train cyber defenders, 3) Deploy volunteers should a sector or entity need assistance, and 4) Provide education and community outreach. The National Guard follow on forces for incident response in the event of an emergency declaration.
NOVEMBER IS NOMINATION MONTH
If you would like to run for a board member position please fell free to contact any board member so they can get you nominated. Current positions to be filled by elections are the Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
